Child safety standards
Anew has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Our standards
- Anew is only for adults aged 21 or over. Age is checked at sign-up, and members verify with a selfie matched to their photos.
- Any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor is banned. Accounts involved are removed immediately and permanently.
- We discourage members from sharing photos or identifying details of their children, and remind them in the app.
- We report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including India's National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and law enforcement, and preserve evidence as the law requires.
How to report
- In the app: open the profile or long-press the message and tap Report. Reports are private.
- By email: support@anewdating.com with the subject "Child safety". We act on these reports first.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call 112. You can also call the Childline helpline on 1098.
