Delete your account

You can delete your Anew account and data at any time.

In the app

1. Open Anew and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap the settings icon (top right).
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account, then confirm.

Without the app

Email support@anewdating.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm and delete it within 7 days.

What happens

• Your profile is hidden from everyone immediately and you're signed out.
• After 7 days, we permanently delete your account: profile, photos, likes, matches, messages, settings and sign-in. If you change your mind, sign back in within those 7 days and tap "Keep my account".
• Selfie photos are never kept; they're deleted right after each check.

What we keep

If you were part of a safety report, the report and an encrypted copy of the conversation are kept while it's reviewed and for up to 1 year after it's closed, to protect members and meet legal obligations. Nothing else is kept.
